True Beauty!

They say the world is beautiful,
But, alas! I would never know…
The smells and sounds always please me,
My senses play with me and tease me!
In a world so full of absolute blackness,
Where my life goes on albeit with slackness,
I’m told, there are wonders to be seen,
& places to be where no one has been…
It sure seems to be beautiful,
But alas! I would never know!!!

They say the world is beautiful,
I doubt I’d ever find out!
The music of the stream sounds refreshing,
& the water toys with me as its gushing!
The birds fly by and sing to me,
just as pleased to be alive as I can ever be!
What is day and, and what is night, the difference I’d never know
& perhaps, I might never be able to watch nature grow.
Yet, my life gives me happiness enough
Even though my vision rests in a handcuff!
They say the world is beautiful,
& I will search the depths to find out…

They say the world is beautiful,
To me, beauty is different…
Beauty lies, not in the eyes
But in the soul of those, even as blind as mice
It’s what you truly are, rather than what you claim to be,
That shows through you, even to those who cannot see
& yes, I know what beauty truly is!
For in the world of Braille, your soul is hard to miss.
& if they say the world is beautiful,
I say yes, but to me beauty is different!

Fear not this life for all its sorrows and pain,

For whilst you have your family and friends you struggle not vain.

For it is in them you would bestow every breath ...

For love is beyond comprehension of man's wealth.

An only gift by the one we call kind,

God our creator:soul,body and mind.

You know how in life, many of us dont convey our feelings to our near and dear ones ...and then we wait for the end moment wen the dude is on his death bed to say ur sorry and such ...

we do the entire shok sabha thing at the funeral saying how good the person was ...

How  do  you picture your funeral?[as in who all wud be present there...wot do u xpect them to say n such...]

Of diyas and rassi bomb fights. 

Walking around n around, 

Taking in every light and sound. 

Friendship and joy hath been discovered, 

Many treasures lost recovered .

The lady justice without eyes in the land of spice,

a land full of crescent moons,of om's and christ,

A land so plentiful of people as much as the grains of sand in the hourglass we call time,

We live together ,perspire together,to earn our dough and dime.

Call us not by our faith,not even by our names,for these are given to us and yet are not our own,

We be sons and daughters of the same mother "we be of one blood ye and I!"

Make us not blind with your tooth for a tooth and an eye for an eye...

Burn we shall the weeds of discord ye has sown!

Fear! fire! foes! 

Or so the old cry goes...

Burn down our  temples ,mosques and churches,

Looters, plunderers singing your drunken dirges!

From the south,the north, the east and the west,

Why do you see us different for the words we speak,

Are not we of the same red blood living with the same breath and zest!

Differ us not on the path we seek...

The path is one, it leads to humanity

Plague us not ,leave us be !!!Insanity.... 

initially i thot this wud be only a blog for a class ...from agnels wanting to vent out their angst ....
but ...i guess there's just too much of that angst goin around ...and lotta ppl wanna talk out ...
tho i thot about making it a common blog for all ya guys out der ....
